Seasonal fireworks trading – what cooperation with the Fajerwerki Lider wholesaler looks like

Seasonal fireworks trade looks different from regular year‑round retail. A point of sale operates for a limited time, purchasing decisions must be made quickly, and a poorly chosen assortment can remain in stock after the season ends. That’s why at Fajerwerki Lider we begin cooperation by establishing what the customer actually expects from us. Some want to choose products themselves, others prefer to entrust us with the entire stocking process, and people starting out in retail often also need product training. We do not, however, work by preparing sample baskets for 20, 30 or 50 thousand PLN that are then sent to several other wholesalers for price comparison. Assortment selection is the result of many years of experience, observation of sales at stationary points and knowledge of which product groups actually perform well in seasonal trade. If a customer wants to use that experience, we do it as part of a real partnership. (Seasonal fireworks trade in 2026 – how to prepare a point of sale?). Three models of seasonal cooperation Depending on the customer’s experience and how much they want to be involved in product selection, we offer three cooperation models. Each has different rules, so it’s worth agreeing them at the start. 1. Full stocking of the point by us This solution is intended for people who want to use our experience instead of analyzing hundreds of products themselves. After an initial conversation we establish the budget, the size and location of the point, the expected length of sales, the customer’s previous experience and any goods remaining from last season. Based on that, we prepare the stocking ourselves. In this model the customer consciously relies on our experience and entrusts us with the product selection. We do not prepare a list that is then analyzed item by item, with substitutions driven by someone having seen another product online or not knowing a specific brand. It’s not that we don’t listen to the customer’s needs. On the contrary — that is precisely why we start with a conversation about their point and budget. However, when we agree on full stocking, the responsibility for assortment selection remains on our side. If the customer wants to make decisions about every product themselves, they should choose the second cooperation model. Popularity online does not mean good sales at the stall This is one of the most common mistakes when stocking for the first time. Products that look great in videos, have lots of views or are popular among pyrotechnics enthusiasts do not necessarily sell well at a typical seasonal sales point. Online and in‑store sales are two different models. A customer standing in front of a shelf makes decisions differently than someone watching product tests on YouTube for half an hour. That is why when stocking points we do not base decisions solely on a product’s online popularity. We look primarily at sales structure, price levels, product types and the way the end customer makes a purchase decision on site. We discuss this in more detail in the article Which fireworks sell best in seasonal trade? Our goal is not to create the largest initial order possible. We want the customer to be satisfied with results after the season and to return to us the following year, preferably with the possibility of scaling up their sales. 2. Independent purchasing via the B2B platform The second option is intended for customers who know what they need and want to decide on the stocking structure themselves. The customer receives access to our B2B platform, where they can view the offer, wholesale prices and available assortment. They then choose products and prepare the order themselves. In this model we do not interfere with their cart and do not analyze each item to determine whether a given product will sell well at a specific point. Purchasing decisions remain the customer’s responsibility. This solution is particularly convenient for people who have already run seasonal trade, know their customers and understand which product groups sell best for them. 3. Full stocking plus product training with us The third option combines full preparation of goods with practical training before sales begin. First, similarly to the first model, we prepare the assortment for the point based on the agreed budget and nature of sales. The goods are assembled and prepared for pickup or further shipping. The customer then comes to us for training on the assortment chosen for them. We go over product groups, the most important differences between them, price ranges, as well as issues related to talking with customers and the basic organization of the display. This solution is for people opening their first seasonal point and entrepreneurs who want to better prepare themselves or their sellers for work. Having goods on the shelf is not enough. The person behind the counter should also know what they are actually selling. Why we don’t prepare sample merchandise offers We regularly receive inquiries about preparing stocking for a specified amount. Asking about budget is of course fine and is the basis of our conversation with the customer. The problem arises when several wholesalers are asked to prepare detailed product lists and the customer then wants to compare them item by item and use the prepared lists as a ready shopping plan. We do not work that way. We also do not take part in auctions consisting of forwarding others’ offers and asking whether we can beat the proposed price. Price competition is a natural part of trade, but our cooperation model is not about being the cheapest wholesaler at all costs. We do not sell only cartons of fireworks. As part of full stocking the customer also benefits from our experience, market knowledge and product selection. If a customer wants to choose goods themselves and compare individual items, they can use the B2B platform. We do not offer the cheapest products at all costs There are very cheap products on the market, but that does not automatically make them the best choice for seasonal sales. When purchasing we pay attention, among other things, to the quality of a specific batch, product workmanship, repeatability of the effect and its relation to the retail price. We do not aim to include only the cheapest possible version of each item in the prepared assortment. We prefer a product that the end customer will buy, be satisfied with, and perhaps return to buy another. We view cooperation with our wholesale customers the same way. We are not interested in a one‑off sale of a large order after which the entrepreneur is left with half a warehouse. A well‑run first season should be the start of ongoing cooperation. Trust works both ways Mutual trust and respect for each other’s work are very important to us in seasonal trade. If a customer chooses the full stocking model, we expect them to actually allow us to use our experience. From our side this means a responsible approach to their budget and selection of products with sales in mind, not just the fulfillment of a one‑time order. With every stocking we also think about the next season. We want the customer to return. If after the first season they increase their order, open another point or start planning purchases earlier, that is the best sign for us that the cooperation is working as it should. That is precisely why proper preparation of the first order matters so much. If you are wondering how much to allocate for the first stocking of a fireworks point, we have prepared a separate guide discussing different budget levels. Promotional materials and point equipment Seasonal cooperation can also include additional materials supporting the preparation of the sales point. Depending on the purchase value and cooperation model, we can offer advertising banners for sale or rental, posters, promotional materials and point‑of‑sale instructions for new points. The range of available commercial materials depends on the level of purchases. With larger orders we can offer broader support related to preparing the point and its signage. Which cooperation model to choose? If you are opening your first point and are not yet familiar with the market, you can entrust us with full stocking. That way we will handle the assortment selection using our seasonal trade experience. If you already have experience, know the products and exactly know what you need, you can prepare the order yourself via the B2B platform. If you are starting sales and also want to properly prepare yourself or your employees for conversations with customers, you can combine full stocking with product training with us. We do not try to convince every customer to use the same model. The most important thing is to agree from the start who makes decisions about the assortment and what each party is responsible for. That way we avoid misunderstandings later and can focus on preparing a point that will work well through the season. Cooperation instead of a one‑off purchase Seasonal fireworks trade can be a profitable business, but it requires proper preparation. Goods are of course the basis, but equally important are the right product selection, cost control and preparing the people serving customers. You can read more about the financial side of the business in the article Is fireworks trade profitable? Costs and profit in 2026. We do not want to be just another wholesaler sending a price list to our customers. If a customer wants to choose products themselves, we give them that option. If they want to use our experience, we can take over the whole stocking process. If they also need product training, we can combine the purchase with training. There is only one most important thing: we set the terms of cooperation clearly from the start. We want the customer to have a good season, return to us next year and be able to grow their business. Those are the kinds of relationships we want to build with our wholesale partners.
