PIRO-5M NATO ASG Training Grenade

The PIRO-5M NATO ASG is a pyrotechnic training grenade designed to realistically simulate the battlefield. It is intended both for enthusiasts of paramilitary games such as paintball and airsoft (ASG) and for professional military training, including exercises for special forces and counterterrorism units. Its design allows it to be used as a "foot trap" type device.

This grenade was developed as a training counterpart to the combat RDG-5, used by some NATO armies, Russia, Ukraine and other countries. Because its dimensions match the combat version, it allows training for throw accuracy and range. The PIRO-5M is currently used by the Ukrainian Territorial Defense during RDG-5 handling training.

Pyrotechnics experts note the controlled acoustic power of this grenade (≤ 125 dB), making it particularly suitable for indoor use.
