The ignition system consists of two transmitters and eight receivers. Each receiver is powered by 2 AA 1.5V batteries (not included in the set). The first transmitter, equipped with a single button, is used to simultaneously ignite all four receivers. The second transmitter has four buttons and allows for the ignition of receivers in any sequence, individually. The maximum diameter of the spark fountain is 42 mm (4.2 cm), making the system compatible with most stage sparklers available in Europe. Connecting the receiver to the base for fountains is not only a great aesthetic measure but also influences the safety of operation.
