Can cold sparklers be ignited indoors?

Certainly, many of you may remember being young and lighting cold sparklers indoors during Christmas at home. While igniting a small quantity of short cold sparklers is completely safe, when it comes to larger quantities, especially long cold sparklers (from 40cm to 90cm), we strongly advise against igniting them indoors. They do not pose a fire hazard, but the smoke emitted during burning can be unpleasant and irritating. So, if you plan to ignite cold sparklers at a wedding, remember not to do it indoors and plan the attraction so that the photos with cold sparklers are taken outside.

Are cold sparklers safe?

Cold sparklers are one of the safest types of fireworks. They require a source of fire to ignite, but they do not explode or burn themselves. When dropped on the ground, the risk of starting a fire is very low, which is why cold sparklers are often the first fireworks introduced to children. However, it's important to remember that despite their name, cold sparklers reach a burning temperature of up to 1200 degrees Celsius - so it's important not to touch the heated part of the cold sparkler, as it can cause burns.

Which cold sparklers to choose for a wedding?

Many of you often ask us which cold sparklers are best for a wedding. The choice of length depends primarily on how many wedding guests you invite for photos with cold sparklers. If it's up to 30 people, you can comfortably choose medium-sized cold sparklers, around 40 cm in length. Their burning time - about 1 minute to 1.5 minutes - will allow such a group of guests to pose for a photo. However, if you're thinking of having a larger group in the photo, we recommend choosing cold sparklers of 70 cm or 90 cm. Their burning time, depending on the quality of the product you choose, can be up to 305 seconds (about 5 minutes), which is enough time for guests to ignite the cold sparklers and pose for photos.
