How to Plan Fireworks for Your Wedding Day

If you’re currently planning your wedding, you know you're doing everything to make this evening truly magical and unique. But is there something that can add the perfect cherry on top? Absolutely – wedding fireworks! Nothing adds sparkle and beauty like fireworks bursting into the sky to the rhythm of your favorite song. Besides unforgettable moments, a Pyro show gives you amazing keepsake photos. And at the end, it will wow all your guests, delivering the ultimate WOW effect.

WEDDING FIREWORKS? FIVE QUESTIONS YOU MUST ANSWER FIRST

First: Do you even want fireworks at your wedding?

Let’s be real – we all love fireworks, but we know they're not for everyone. Many couples think organizing a fireworks show is difficult or very expensive. Some assume all fireworks are incredibly loud, or worse – not legal at all. There’s also a group of couples who want to include fireworks in their celebration, but don’t necessarily want a full-scale aerial show.
So first, decide if you want to incorporate fireworks into your big day… and then…

Second: What do you prefer?

Fireworks cover a broad range of products, typically falling into two main groups: aerial and ground-level effects.
When people think of fireworks shows, images of sky-high bouquets of sparks come to mind – those are aerial effects. But if you'd prefer something more subtle—like highlighting your cake cutting or first dance—then ground fireworks (such as spark fountains, strobes, colored smoke candles, sparklers, or the increasingly popular  flares) are a great option. The second group lets you include fireworks without breaking the bank.

Third: Professional team or DIY kit?

A wedding fireworks show — whether ground-level or romantic aerial pyros — can be performed by a professional pyrotechnics team, or you can buy a ready-to-use self-firing kit. You can choose from mass-market kits, or we can design and prepare one specifically for your needs, customizing pacing, duration, and colors.

When choosing, think about whether someone at your wedding will stay sober long enough to light the show. But you also need to check…

Fourth: Will your venue allow fireworks?

Always check with the venue owner or manager if they allow fireworks. Different venues may restrict certain types (like aerial shows) but allow ground displays. Some venues only permit fireworks if conducted by licensed pyrotechnicians.
If the venue manager won't allow any fireworks, don’t worry—contact us and we'll handle the negotiation. In 90% of cases, objections come from fear or misinformation. They might not know that fireworks used properly are completely safe, or they might have had bad experiences with fake pyrotechnic teams. Some simply think fireworks are illegal outside New Year’s Eve (learn more about that [here]).

Fifth: What’s your budget for the display?

We saved this for last, even though many think this is the most important question—but we believe it’s not that simple. As mentioned earlier, many couples dismiss fireworks because they assume they're too expensive. That’s not true. You control your budget. You can decide to add fireworks after booking other attractions if you have extra funds, or upgrade to a full pyromusical synchronized to music.

The most common price for wedding fireworks ranges between 3 500–5 000 PLN, though we sometimes do shows costing 7 000–10 000 PLN.
If that’s too much, we offer professional shows from as little as 2 000 PLN.
And if that's still too much but you want fireworks, DIY kits start around 500 PLN.
We’ve explained what affects pricing in another blog post.
