So, who buys smoke bombs most often and why? The answer is simple: wedding couples and photographers. Once only used in post-wedding photoshoots, colorful smoke is now becoming a popular feature at the church exit (instead of confetti) or during the couple’s grand entrance at the venue.

We’ve seen hundreds—if not thousands—of dreamy photos centered around smoke bombs. Nothing adds such an emotional and magical atmosphere as a cloud of vibrant, colorful smoke.

Other Uses for Smoke Bombs

Are photo sessions the only use for smoke bombs? Not at all! They’re widely used in ASG games, paintball, military reenactments, theatrical effects, and even at home—for example:

A 2022 newcomer and instant favorite! What makes them special? You can hold them. Pull-ring ignition + over 60 seconds of burn time + only ~20zł = the perfect wedding photo tool.

We debated whether to include them… but their popularity wins. While unsuitable for large outdoor sessions, they’re perfect for product photography or kids' play. Around 40zł per pack (72 balls), 10 seconds of smoke each. Small but surprisingly vibrant.

Imported from Czech brand PyroMoravia. Primarily used for ASG and paintball, but also great for wedding photos. Colors: red, yellow, blue, purple, orange. Burns for ~90 seconds, ignited via pull-ring. Expect dense smoke clouds!

10. JFS1 Small Smoke Candles – [link]

These are known across Poland (and likely Europe) among photographers. For just ~10zł, they offer 40 seconds of dense smoke. While not hand-held, they remain a favorite for small-scale photo effects. Available in red, yellow, orange, green, blue, and white—with more shades coming soon.
